Gerard Curran, Irish Champion open water swimmer. Originally coming from a Gaelic Football background, Gerard after a football stopping injury moved to the more relaxing sport of swimming. having a sports pedigree at his core it was long before Gerard started competing in swimming galas. The Crana Swim Series is the brainchild of Gerard, who has been swimming in these waters for the past 10 years.

Conor is normally behind a camera or flying a drone. At a young age, he set up his media company, 7283 Media, and has been covering sporting events in the North-West. You can be sure that every single moment of your swim will be captured, whether it be by drone or by a camera. Occasionally Conor will slip into a wetsuit and surprisingly swim.
Having competed in triathlons for the last few years, open water swimming has become Marc’s favourite discipline. He has been swimming in Ludden for the past few years, and swam a few 5km swims.
Mark started his triathlon training in 2015 when he learned to swim for the local Liam Ball triathlon, Gerard was his swim coach. He completed various 3.8km swims in 2016. Mark is testament that you can learn to swim at any age and enjoy the challenge of open water swimming.
